Revital Ganzi

A native Hebrew speaker from Tel Aviv, Israel, Revital Ganzi holds an M.A.T. in Education and Jewish Leadership with emphasis on Hebrew Language Instruction from Brandeis University and a B.A. in Behavioral Sciences from the College of Management in Israel.

As the sole faculty member of UTK’s Hebrew program, she develops and implements comprehensive curriculum incorporating both language acquisition and cultural studies. She established the Hebrew minor program and designs courses conducted in English about Israeli culture and society. Her innovative teaching approach integrates digital learning technologies, Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and Generative AI (GAI) to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes.

Beyond the classroom, she coordinates cultural events that bring Israeli culture to life for the UTK community. Her teaching expertise includes the Middlebury College summer Hebrew Immersion Program and online instruction for the United States Air Force. Prior to UTK, she contributed to several institutions in the Greater Boston area, including Hebrew College and Brandeis University.
