Amy Culp
Amy Culp is a lecturer of Japanese in the Department of Modern Foreign Languages and Literatures at the University of Tennessee. Amy comes from the state of Florida where she co-majored in Chinese and Japanese at Florida State University. After graduating with her B.A. in East Asian Languages and Cultures from FSU, she continued her studies at the University of Hawaii at Manoa where she focused on Japanese language pedagogy and earned her M.A. in East Asian Languages and Literatures. Amy has been teaching beginner-intermediate Japanese to students in the United States since 2020 and has research interests involving Japanese pedagogy and discourse analysis.
