Moussa Seck
Moussa Seck is an Assistant Professor of French and Francophone Studies with a focus on Francophone African literatures, migration, and translation. He holds a PhD in French and Francophone Studies from Northwestern University and an MA in African Literatures from Gaston Berger University in Senegal. Moussa’s academic and teaching interests include the relationship between writing and movement, postcolonial politics and migration, and the intersections of migration narratives and the transnational postcolonial community to come. His current book project, tentatively titled The figure of “l’étranger” in the francophone migration novel and the decolonial community, examines the ways in which the representation of migrant experiences in African literatures can serve as a springboard to reimagine the postcolonial community.
