Hallie-Blair Quatro

Hallie-Blair is a first-year master’s student studying the French Language and Francophone Culture under the WLC French department. Her research interests focus on Francophone literature of the 20th and the 21st century, with a specific focus on female Francophone authors and the genres of fiction, narrative, autobiography, and autofiction. In collaboration with both philosophical and theoretical texts, she is currently researching the connection between genre and personal identity of the author, and how this association might lead to self-invention, cultural and personal reconciliation, and the reclaiming of a difficult personal and collective history.
