Victoria Sanders

Victoria is a Knoxville native. She received her Bachelors with a major in French and Francophone studies and a minor in Environmental Studies from the University of Montevallo in Montevallo, Alabama where she also played soccer. She then returned home and received her Master’s in French and Francophone Studies from the University of Tennessee. Her Master’s thesis, Pourquoi un homme ? ; L’inversion des rôles de genres, la crise de l’eau et le sacrifice dans Gouverneurs de la Rosée, combined her interest in the environment and the French language. After finishing her Master’s, she spent a year as an English Teaching assistant at a primary school in small town southern France. Now she is back home at UT, planning to help develop a Humanitarian and Health French course.
