Vernacular Call for Papers

Vernacular: New Connections in Language, Literature & Culture is a peer-reviewed journal organized by graduate students in the Department of World Languages and Cultures (WLC) at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville (UTK).
The journal accepts high-quality submissions of scholarly essays, book reviews, interviews, and translations, as well as short stories and poetry. We welcome entries written in English, French, German, or Spanish. Deadline for upcoming submissions: December 15, 2023.
