Faculty or Student Workshops
We offer group workshops to foster effective WLC teaching on the faculty side and language learning on the student side.
Student Workshops
Students taking a foreign language are often overwhelmed by the differences between language study and study in their other courses. Language anxiety is real, but seeking a course that is below your actual abilities is not the solution. We are here to help!
The LRC provides various language study skill workshops on demand to provide students with a distinct set of technology and learning skills specific to the idiosyncrasies of language pedagogy.
Seminars draw upon expertise of WLC faculty and LRC personnel. Check on the LRC Facebook Page for announcements of the next LRC Language Study Skill Workshops.
Faculty interested in arranging a workshop for a class should contact Dr. Canfield to make arrangements.
Faculty Workshops
The LRC offers curricular support for language technology as a method of enriching instruction and encouraging effective pedagogical outcomes for faculty. To that end, the Center offers regularly scheduled workshops for faculty throughout each semester.

M–F 8am – 5pm (Fall / Spring)
M–F 9am – 4pm (Summer)
Closed during holidays & study days
After Hours for WLC Faculty
AMB 4, 10, 12, 14, 15, and 17 are available to WLC faculty and instructors after hours with their VolCard. Approved WLC instructors with AMB offices enjoy 24-hour access to these production facilities. Email us to request access.
