WebCAPE Placement Exam (for Chinese, French, German, Italian, Russian, and Spanish)
NOTE: Please take your exam seriously—you will only be allowed to take it once!
Instructions on how to access your exam (please read through before clicking on the button for your language):
- Choose the exam you need to take. Click that button.
- Enter your Student ID, UTK email address, and password. You will not be allowed to take your exam without using your UTK email address. (Note: please enter your UT Student ID number as your ID number. DO NOT enter your Social Security number. Failure to provide your Student ID number may invalidate your exam.)
- Completely fill out the the pre-test survey and then click “Begin Test”
- At the end of the exam, you will see your exam results. They can be printed out, and you can log back in to see your results anytime.
If you have hardware difficulties or have any questions about how to take the Placement Exam, fill out a ticket with the LRC Helpdesk.
If you have additional questions about the STAMP™ exams, fill out a ticket with the LRC Helpdesk.

After Hours for WLC Faculty
AMB 4, 10, 12, 14, 15, and 17 are available to WLC faculty and instructors after hours with their VolCard. Approved WLC instructors with AMB offices enjoy 24-hour access to these production facilities. Email us to request access.
